Ferrari F40 debuted in 1987 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Ferrari's establishment. Its dominance remains unparalleled, even when compared to subsequent "super" Ferraris like the F50 and Enzo Ferrari. Ferrari F40 LM itself represents a more extreme evolution of the standard F40, with an engine producing around 720 horsepower, extensive aerodynamic enhancements including a larger rear wing and front splitter, and a stripped-down, lightweight interior optimized for track performance. While retaining the iconic silhouette of the F40, the LM’s aggressive stance and track-focused engineering showcased Ferrari’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of speed and handling beyond the road-going model. Its MOMO-designed steering wheel, which has been a long-time collaborator with Ferrari, features a flat, 3-spoke shape with a traditional circular grip. In the race-oriented Ferrari F40 LM (Le Mans), developed to compete in endurance racing, the steering wheel was upgraded to suede, providing better grip under extreme track conditions. Covered in premium seamless red suede, Ferrari F40 steering wheel combines racing-inspired character with sporty elegance, making a striking statement in any interior. Ferrari horn button included. Boss kit is not included, which can be purchased here. Not only can this steering wheel be used as a replacement for the F40, but if you have a MOMO boss for your own vehicle, you can install it on any car. F40 LM steering wheel is made in Italy and upgraded to meet 2015 homologation specifications. Much stronger than the original. Please note that the number engraved below the 'Made in Italy' sign may vary. Made in Italy.
