The Dwarflab Draco is expected to be available (est. 01.12.2026) The Dwarflab Smart Telescope MC 90/340 Draco is a powerful smart telescope for astrophotography and sky observations. At the heart of the Dwarflab Draco is a high-performance catadioptric optical telescope with a 90mm aperture. This relatively large aperture enables high light gathering capability and much higher resolution than found on many other smaller smart telescopes - This makes it ideal for observing and capturing deep-sky objects, as well as the moon and planets of our Solar System. The 90mm optics are coupled with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS camera sensor, which captures astronomical subjects extremely sharply and in very rich detail. The integrated guidescope even allows for precise tracking and single exposures of up to 300 seconds! Images are stored on the generously sized 128GB internal memory. Wireless data transfer is possible via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or NFC and this data can be transferred via Wi-Fi up to a distance of around 15 meters at a transfer rate of up to 30 MB/s. Alternatively, images can be transferred directly to a compatible device via the USB-C interface. The integrated battery (10,000 mAh / 7.7 V) is also charged via USB-C with this battery capacity allowing for up to five hours of operation (Depending on the temperature). Integrated sensor cooling reduces thermal noise from the camera, therefore dramatically reducing camera noise in the image, especially during longer exposures. The heat generated fro mthe sensort is used to regulate the optics and prevent the front lens from fogging up on cold or humid nights. With an IP56 rating, Draco is designed for use in varying weather and environmental conditions. The housing is protected against dust and water showers, making it suitable of course for use outdoors. An additional 1/1.55-inch wide-angle camera expands the smart telescope's functionality and assists with celestial orientation to frame the image area. It also enables the capture of large celestial regions, such as large sections of our Milky Way galaxy. The telephoto and wide-angle cameras can also be used simultaneously, allowing both the expansive surroundings and the actual subject to be captured in incredible detail. In addition to the classic alt-az operation, the Dwarflab Draco also supports an EQ mode. This enables longer and more precise tracking, therefore expanding the possibilities dramatically for deep-sky astrophotography with this smart telescope. The Draco's range of applications extends from deep-sky imaging and photography of the moon and planets to widefield Milky Way photography, star trail photography, time-lapse photography, and panoramas, making it one of the most versatile smart telescopes available.
