Simple Sweater Class: A Circular Yoke Sweater
Join us for another wonderful sweater class. This versatile knit can be made in cozy wool, or a lighter cotton/linen blend with shorter sleeves for summer styling. This will be a fun first sweater class, and great for anyone who likes the camaraderie and momentum of group knitting. As with any sized garment, gauge is important! Students must create swatch(es) prior to class and come prepared to cast on with yarn and needles necessary to meet gauge. Students should be proficient in the basics of knitting (comfortable knitting, purling, working in the round, and following written directions) before taking this class. Sara is the instructor for this class. Meets for 3 sessions, 2 hours each session Skill level: adventurous beginner and beyond Topics taught in class: basic sweater construction, finishing and care Materials: worsted or DK weight yarn and needles to meet gauge (see pattern for yarn and size information), stitch markers, darning needle, waste yarn Pattern: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/simple-sweater-11 Photo credit: Tin Can Knits
