BURGUNDY GLAZE CERAMIC VASE Sourced from France, signed on the bottom by the maker. The vase has a stunning burgundy / green blotted speckled glaze with a iridescent shine. A striking studio pottery vase with a textured raku glaze. A raku glaze is created by removing the ceramic from the kiln while hot and plunged into combustible materials (like sawdust) to starve the glaze of oxygen. This produces signature metallic lusters, vibrant iridescent colors, and dramatic crackle patterns Great vintage condition and is a lovely height to go on a coffee table. Measures H27 x D20cm
