Cookie

🍪 Hi hoomans! It’s me, Cookie! 🐾 I’m a sweet young chocolate Lab mix who has decided that my foster family’s job is to make sure I have ALL THE FUN. And honestly, they’re doing pretty well at it. They also call me Kiki, and I love that nickname! 💕 I LOVE to play fetch, I LOVE to swim, and I am always ready for an adventure! 🎾💦 At our cabin, I’ve even gotten to run off leash, and guess what? I come when I’m called! I’m also a very good girl in the car and walk GREAT on a leash. Well… unless there is a squirrel. 🐿️ Then we need to have a serious discussion about why that squirrel is allowed to exist. I’m learning all kinds of grown-up stuff, too. I’m getting better with my potty training as my tummy gets settled, although I still have an occasional oopsie. And I’m working on my table manners because apparently counter surfing is “not appropriate.” 🤷♀️ I don’t guard my food or toys, I’m not afraid of storms, loud noises, toddlers, or other dogs, and I sleep wherever I feel like sleeping. Because I’m Cookie, and clearly the house belongs to me. 👑 I do bark when people walk past the house sometimes because someone has to keep the neighborhood informed. 📢 My biggest accomplishment so far? I’m learning that I do NOT need to beg for every bite of food my humans eat. This is very difficult because I have been informed that their food smells much better than mine. I’m still learning, but I’m a happy, loving girl who is ready for a family that will keep me busy, let me splash in the water, throw approximately 4,782 tennis balls, and continue helping me become the very best Cookie I can be. 🎾🐾💕 Love, Cookie 🍪❤️
