FC Nantes 2009/2010 Home Shirt

FC NANTES – HOME SHIRT 2009/2010 Founded in 1943, Football Club de Nantes, commonly known as FC Nantes or simply Nantes, are a professional football club based in Nantes in western France. Nantes play their home matches at the Stade de la Beaujoire, which can host more than 35,000 spectators. The club’s honours include eight Ligue 1 titles and four Coupe de France trophies and their youth system has produced some French greats such as Marcel Desailly, Didier Deschamps, and Claude Makélélé. During the 2009/2010 season, Nantes wore this traditional home shirt while competing in Ligue 2, following their relegation from Ligue 1 in the previous campaign. Expectations were high for an immediate return to the top flight, but the season proved to be a difficult one. Nantes ultimately finished 15th in Ligue 2, well short of promotion, in what was a terrible campaign for a club of their stature.
