Product Description This is a genuine factory-original, heavy-duty 530-pitch, 110-link sealed drive chain. Manufactured by Daido Kogyo Co. (D.I.D.) specifically for Yamaha under their high-strength "ZL" specification, this chain is engineered to transfer power from Yamaha's massive, high-torque 1100cc and 1200cc four-cylinder sport-touring powerplants. Note: In Yamaha's parts cataloging system, this original part number has been superseded by 94580-94110 and ultimately by the active part number 94581-78110. When replacing this chain, deeply inspect the wear on your rear cushion drive dampers (part number 4KG-25364-00 or similar) and both sprockets. Running a fresh high-end chain on hooked sprocket teeth will quickly tear the O-ring seals and ruin the links. Set your chain slack on the side stand to the factory-recommended 30–40 mm range, and keep it lubriced to preserve the factory-sealed internal grease.
