Stay In The Light | Canvas

Inspired by John 8:12 and John 1:5, I created this painting as a reminder that even though there is darkness in the world, the Lord’s light shines on us and drives that darkness away. When we stay close to Him, when we keep our focus on Him, we are led by something steady that doesn’t change depending on what’s around us. This piece is about that choice to remain in His light, not because everything around us is perfect, but because He is. And when we stay with Him, the darkness doesn’t take over, it doesn’t define us and it doesn’t have the final word. It doesn’t mean we won’t go through hard moments, but it means we are not walking through them alone and we are not left without direction. I wanted this canvas to be something you can come back to as a reminder that no matter what you are facing, you can keep your eyes on Him, stay in His light and trust that the darkness will never overcome it.
