Magpie Thatch

A pretty Kent cottage in Spring. This artwork was developed in the studio from graphite and colour pencil sketches done on location. The rustic character of this old cottage is complimented by the rustic nature of the thick hand-made paper with visible fibres and rough edges that was used as a support. Hand-drawn with archive quality colour pencils. Best framed under UV glass to protect the delicate colour gradations. This artwork will be protected and shipped in a box (not a tube) to keep the very thick hand-made paper flat. Pencil on Paper 46 x 33 cms Unframed
