A Little More Light

A Little More Light was inspired by my love of sunshine and the way light can instantly change how I feel. After long stretches of gray winter days in the Pacific Northwest, I often travel to Los Angeles and, almost without thinking, step outside the airport and turn my face toward the sun. That simple moment brings an immediate sense of warmth, energy, and possibility. This painting is a reflection of that feeling, a reminder that sometimes all we need is a little more light.
