Emma

Emma sets an oval-cut diamond low on a softly rounded band, clean and unfussy from above. The interest is hidden underneath: a second halo of small stones, tucked beneath the centre diamond where it cannot be seen head-on, throwing off little flashes of light only as the hand turns. From the front it reads as a simple solitaire. It is the glimpse from the side, the secret the wearer keeps, and others catch by accident, that gives it away.
