Model A 4 Cylinder Middle Transmission Mount for Model A Chassis - Ford 1928-1931

Part Number: OYS-MAMMT Description: The stock Ford Model A engine/transmission mounts were lackluster back when Henry made them with a rigid side mounting point to the chassis. The original side mounts provided poor support for the both the engine and transmission and transferred all the vibration of the drivetrain directly to the chassis itself. We've addressed this problem with a two part hanging mounting system that uses the stock bolt locations, rubber vibration dampening biscuits, vibration dampening frame pads and larger diameter frame hardware. The mounts are made from 3/16" mild steel and tig welded. Increasing both strength and durability all while reducing vibration. PLEASE NOTE: This engine mount does not work with Model B engines. Please see our B Mid Engine Mounts found here. Please allow for 3-5 days on welding these together, 1-2 weeks if you get the transmission mount.
