14k Gold Earrings by Hannes Niemi, Finland These elegant earrings are handcrafted in solid 14k gold and set with striking black onyx. Created by Helsinki-based jeweller Hannes Niemi, whose workshop operated from 1947 to 1970, they exemplify the refined simplicity of mid-century Scandinavian modernism. The black onyx provides a sophisticated contrast to the warm gold, highlighting the era’s preference for bold materials, minimalist forms, and quiet elegance. The earrings are each fully stamped on each hook with the Finnish hallmarks: 'KN' (designer/maker) & '585'. The pair are in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age) with perfectly functioning clasps. They measure approx. 42mm long (including hook) by 7mm wide.
