It's a technique closer to temple stone-carving than statue-painting, and very few artisans in Jaipur still work at this density of detail. Her seat is a fully petaled lotus resting on a wide carved plinth, the scrollwork on either side curling outward like living vines rather than a static decorative border. The peacock at her feet isn't a small accent — its tail feathers are rendered in the same fine relief as the throne, fanned out and individually defined.
