Selected Bellview and Borenore blocks gently shaped and nurtured from pruning to harvest to maximise quality in the glass. Rhone-inspired Syrah style. Subtle use of whole cluster to add perfume and structure. Tasting Notes: Colour | Intense youthful purple Bouquet | Complex and alluring with elevated blue and black fruits, violets, toasty oak and black pepper spice. Palate | A highly detailed Syrah with complex red and blueberry fruit, silky entry with a whole bunch tannin knitting it all together. Medium to full-bodied powerful, fine boned and driven. Pairs well with: Meat | Smoked brisket with coffee-ancho rub and charred broccolini. Seafood | Blackened swordfish with mango-habanero salsa and lime rice. Vegetarian | Truffle-infused mushroom Wellington with red wine reduction. Vegan | Harissa-roasted cauliflower with tahini drizzle and herbed couscous. Cheese | Smoked cheddar with bacon-onion jam and rye crisps. Cellaring: 10+ years in a good cellar
