The body of the guitar has been refinished well and is shows signs of play wear - the neck has been oversprayed and is starting to check nicely. The body is dated may 1957 (photographed) and the pencil neck date has been removed from the base of the neck with a previous dealer surmising that this would have happened when the neck was oversprayed. The bridge and saddles are from a later telecaster (late 50s/60s) with one height screw being replaced. The pickups are original to the guitar. The guitar has had a refret and new nut being fitted, with the frets showing 90% of life remaining. The electronics function as expected.
