Correctly paired 1300/1600 German Pierburg Fuel Pump + 12V German Bosch coil. This is a professionally restored genuine 1300/1600 German Pierburg Fuel Pump; also called the square top. Each restored German Pierburg Fuel Pump is first completely disassembled and inspected for viability in our workshop. Next, it's ultrasonically cleaned, taken down to bare metal and resurfaced. All hardware is zinc plated, inlet and outlet tubes are always removed and reseated for safety. Each pump is fitted with brand new, custom-crafted superior quality diaphragms, (Effbe, which is the OEM supplier to VW) that are formulated with nitrile rubber to withstand modern gasoline blended with ethanol. Our German Pierburg Fuel Pumps also have the reed suction valve replaced and reseated with a Genuine Porsche unit that far surpasses the original. Finally, pumps are reassembled on a jig for correct preload the main diaphragm. This ensures fuel delivery is correct to factory specs. All gaskets are included for installation. This 12V German Bosch coil has been professionally refurbished in our workshop and tested for conformity to factory specifications. It measures the requisite resistance levels, sparks correctly, and is complete with a repainted, sealed, and freshly-revived bracket in L91 silver. Appropriate for classic Volkswagens from 1967-1979.
