Jul/Aug 2027 Park Rapids Driver's Ed (IN PERSON) Classes will be held at Calvary Church, 112 Park Ave, Park Rapids, MN. Class communication will occur via the remind app. I will text everyone the link to join 2 weeks prior to class starting. If you do not have this app please download it when you register. Students should bring a notebook, pen and highlighter to class. If you are 14 years old or older, you may sign up for a driver's education class. Students who are 14 years old must wait until they are 15 years old to take the knowledge test. Classroom instruction will be given on the following dates: Classroom instruction will be given on the following dates: Session 1: Mon July 26th 9-12pm *** Parent meeting via zoom 6pm-7:30pm Session 2: Tue July 27th 9-12pm Session 3: Wed July 28th 9-12pm Session 4: Thu July 29th 9-12pm Session 5: Fri July 30th 9-12pm Session 6: Mon August 2nd 9-12pm Session 7: Tue August 3rd 9-12pm Session 8: Wed August 4th 9-12pm Session 9: Thu August 5th 9-12pm Session 10:Fri August 6th 9-12pm Upcoming VIRTUAL Parent Meetings via ZOOM: Monday July 26th 6-7:30pm. Parents and students should both attend, but the parent meeting is optional. Attendance is very important. State law requires students have 30 hours of classroom instruction before a Blue Card can be issued. If a student misses a class, make-up classes must be attended in the next available class. I strongly suggest perfect attendance. If you have a scheduling conflict due to extracurricular activities, call me and we will find a solution. Students should bring a notebook, pen and highlighter to class. Driver instruction fees are as follows: Classroom: $150 Behind the Wheel: $350 Classroom / Behind the Wheel Package: $450 You may pay for these classes separately and still receive the $50 discount.
