The Arturo Fuente Don Arturo Gran AniverXario Destino al Siglo de Familia (often referred to simply as Familias or de Familia) is an ultra-rare, full-bodied 6 1/8" x 47 Corona Grande. It was personally blended by Carlito Fuente Jr. as a tribute to the legacy, foundation, and generations of the Fuente family. The line was created to commemorate the company's historic 100th anniversary. The Blend Breakdown Unlike the core Fuente Fuente OpusX line which uses a Corojo seed variety, the Destino al Siglo series utilizes a distinct proprietary Habano seed wrapper grown at the legendary Chateau de la Fuente estate. Wrapper: Rare, proprietary Dominican Chateau de la Fuente Habano (though some special limited batches utilize aged Cuban-seed Ecuadorian Connecticut or Rosado leaves). Binder & Filler: Heavily aged, estate-grown Dominican tobaccos. Flavor Profile: Highly complex and intensely full-flavored. It features a peppery core balanced by layers of rich dark chocolate, sweet vanilla, warm cedar, leather, gingerbread, and an earthy finish.
