Morado (Bolivian Rosewood) | 3/8" Rough Thin Boards (10 Pcs)
Morado (Also known as Bolivian Rosewood or Pau Ferro) is a premium South American hardwood celebrated as a sustainable, high-quality alternative to traditional rosewoods. Morado features a gorgeous, highly varied coloring that ranges from light violet-brown to deep chocolate and reddish-brown, and is heavily punctuated by striking, dark brown or black streaks that create beautiful, contrasting patterns. These specific 3/8" thin boards are ideal for luthiers, box makers, and specialty crafters looking for a striking accent wood without the waste of resawing thicker stock. Please note: These boards are not fully surfaced (S2S/S4S), and may contain unfinished surfaces, allowing you the freedom to skip-plane, sand, or finish them to your exact required thickness. Boards will be similar to pictures listed ±1/8" Tolerance: Because these are rough-cut milling blanks, a variance tolerance of 1/8" applies to the thickness, width, and length. Great for: Acoustic guitar fingerboards, backs, and side sets, jewelry boxes, humidors, custom knife handles, inlays, scroll saw projects and much more.
