Information: This surgical grade stainless steel band is carefully stamped for consistently smooth (burr-free) edges that keep your patient comfortable and reduce risk of gingival trauma. Available in a variety of sizes and contours. Tofflemire matrix bands are used in Class II restorations. The function of the matrix is to restore anatomic proximal contours and contact areas. A properly placed matrix should be rigid against the existing tooth structure.
