Antique 1800s Victorian white cotton nightgown - vintage 1900s dress - cottagecore - broderie Anglais - 56” chest

A British antique fine white cotton nightgown, dating from the late 1800s or early 1900s. Noted flaws - some small marks at the centre back area, approx. 2cm vertical frays at the centre back and left hand side, small spot at the right cuff area, about 1/3 of the frill edge at the placket is missing - please see photos. Excellent condition otherwise for its age, freshly laundered, broderie Anglais frills at the collar and cuffs, pin tuck pleating at the chest and back shoulders, pop-over smock style, suitable for everyone, could be worn as is with a belt or reworked into a skirt and blouse, excellent quality cotton, well over 100 years old.
