Ethiopia beriti (NEW)
Beriti sits in the highlands of Gedeb, 22 km from Gedeb town, at elevations between 2,200 and 2,300 meters above sea level. Smallholder farmers here have long cultivated heirloom varieties on small plots of land, drawing from spring water and relying on the region's generous rainfall and fertile clay soils. At this altitude, the cool temperatures slow the development of the cherry, allowing complex flavors to build gradually, much like the rich coffee tradition Yirgacheffe has cultivated for generations.
