The Fermentation Project 2026: A Global Tasting Event Two years ago we participated in James Hoffmann's The Decaf Project, a fun project where we all got to taste one coffee decaffeinated three different ways. When James together with Lucia Solis this year announced The Fermentation Project we wanted to join straight away! The Fermentation Project is an exciting global tasting event led by coffee professional James Hoffmann with help from coffee fermentation and processing specialist Lucia Solis and sourcing partner Caravela. This project is designed as an educational tool to talk about the power and limitations of controlled fermentation. When most of the speciality coffee world is thinking about co-ferments/infusions and extreme processing, it's a chance to have a different conversation about the role of processing beyond creating intense flavours. The tasting event will be held on the 3rd of October and we will roast and send your coffee out from the 10th of September. In this package you will receive 4x60g of coffee beans.
