Roterfaden Hail-Set #2

Klick on the wine names for more info: Riesling Endschleife 2023 Lemberger Endschleife 2022 Trollinger Rosa 2023 Last week, a short but severe hailstorm destroyed around 80% of the vineyards of our friends Olympia and Hannes from Roterfaden. With 3.5 hectares of vines, they are a very small estate, making the damage especially hard to absorb – just a few weeks before harvest. In response, Olympia and Hannes shared a simple message: "Drink our wines!". It won’t bring this year’s harvest back, but it’s a meaningful way to show your support when it matters most. Extreme weather events are becoming more frequent. A single hailstorm can destroy an entire harvest within minutes, damaging not only the grapes, but also the leaves and vines, with consequences that can extend far beyond the current growing season. Together with our friend Sidney (@miltonsidneycurtis), we’ve put together two wine sets that make it easy to support Roterfaden.
