Literature and Libations
Literature & Libations is an intimate 90-minute hosted evening pairing curated wine tastings with live literary performance. On August 16, we step inside the dark, obsessive world of Edgar Allan Poe; with three wines chosen for what they share with his most iconic texts, performed and discussed by host Christopher Hoppe, a Gothic literature scholar, Shakespeare director, and wine educator based in Astoria. Featuring The Tell-Tale Heart, The Cask of Amontillado, The Raven, and Annabel Lee. Tickets $30 (includes three drink tastings). Drink-free tickets available for $12.
