KSDE Suicide & Bullying Prevention: Training, Alignment & Implementation The purpose of these trainings is to support coordination, shared understanding, and alignment across the state while helping districts meet KSDE reporting and implementation requirements. In the morning, KSDE SMHT members will provide training on the KSDE Suicide Prevention and Bullying Prevention materials, resources, and expectations. The afternoon will be dedicated to team work time, giving districts an opportunity to apply the learning, complete required templates, and develop their plans with guidance and support from our team. This format will be similar to the collaborative trainings we have provided with you in the past, balancing professional learning with dedicated implementation time. The training will be offered to all districts with which you are working. As the new KSDE Implementation and Support Team continues to develop consistent processes and supports, this shared training opportunity will help ensure that training partners across Kansas are aligned in their understanding, approach, and messaging. The goal is not simply to complete a compliance requirement, but to build shared capacity and provide districts with the support they need to move from training to meaningful implementation.
