Ridetech System Includes: Rear Bolt-on 4-Link Kit: Ridetech is proud to introduce the 4-link rear suspension system specifically for 1970–1981 Camaros and Firebirds. It includes a uni-cradle, adjustable upper bars with R-joints, non-adjustable lower bars with R-joints, and all mounting brackets and hardware. The Ridetech bolt-on 4-link installs onto the OEM leaf spring mounts of your prized muscle car. No cutting or fabrication is required—just four small tabs to weld to the axle for your upper bars. The ride height of your car is typically lowered by approximately 2". The ride quality is dramatically improved over stock. Instead of a wallowing, soft ride, you'll experience a crisp, controlled ride quality that will inspire more confidence for performance driving. The clean-sheet design offers long upper link bars with revised mounting points for improved roll center, forward bite, and anti-squat characteristics. The rear bulkhead in these cars (the structure between the passenger compartment and the trunk) exhibits excellent strength, especially where the bulkhead ties into the floor pan at the transmission tunnel. Ridetech engineered a brace that bolts to both the bulkhead and the rear edge of the transmission tunnel while still allowing you to run a full back seat. Simple holes are drilled into the bulkhead without any welding of the unibody structure. It comes completely assembled and ready to bolt in the Currie housing, with a 31 spline posi-trac unit, premium ring & pinion, and solid shim set. This kit comes with a 3.70 ratio gear, which is a good cruising ratio. We have ratios from 3.50 to 5.00 that can be substituted in.
