Red Sulfanilamide Shaker Packet

Reproduction Sulfanilamide Shaker Packet. This is the correct construction for the Sulfanilamide shaker that was part of the Carlisle First Aid Packet, this was carried in the soldiers first aid pouch. The shakers with the red flap were packed (together with the bandage) inside the early container (shown left) or the later laminated wrapper (shown right). The metal container was either painted red or was OD with an embossed text on the back indicating the inclusion of the Sulfanilamide shaker. The light blue fields on the shaker indicates where to glue. This is a helpful aid since these shakers are of a complex construction.
