This fluid acrylic medium helps paint stick to fabric and reduces stiffness when dry. What it does No ironing needed: Liquitex do not require heat setting to fix it Helps paint stay flexible: Reduces the stiff feel of acrylic paint on fabric. Works with acrylic paint too: Mix into ready-made acrylic paint for fabric projects. How to use with glow pigment 1. Prewash your fabric without softener to remove residues that can affect adhesion. Let it dry. 2. Two ways to mix. With ready-made glow paint: 1 part paint to 1 part medium. From pigment powder: start at 30% glow pigment to 70% medium by weight and stir thoroughly each time before painting. 3. Do not exceed 35% pigment. Build a stronger glow with thin 2-3 layers, letting each dry before adding another. Avoid heavy coats, which can make fabric stiff. 4. White or light-coloured fabric helps the glow appear brighter. 5. Test a spare piece for glow, flexibility and washing before decorating the whole item. Allow at least 4 days after fully drying before a gentle, cool test wash, giving the paint time to set.
