This large, long ottoman / footstool has been reupholsteted in a stunning Becca Who designed velvet called 'Crocodilia' to create a luxurious and very stylish statement. The velvet piping around the upper edge adds additional interest. The wooden frame is a very heavy and robust structure meaning it can take tge weight of two adults as an additional bench seat. The 4 permanent, turned wooden legs have been painted and sealed to help prevent scratching and scuffs. Each leg has a carpet glider attached for ease of moving about over carpet. They also help prevent scratching wooden, stone and laminate or vinyl flooring.I've so enjoyed creating this beauty, using such wonderful fabric always adds to my joy of upholstery. The measurements in centimetres are:Height 44, Width 120, Depth 47. I aim to source / rescue quality furniture that just needs a bit of tlc to restore them to their former glory. I only use high end fabrics to give a bespoke quality feel to each piece. Using such fabrics always enhances the design and makes the whole process so enjoyable for me to work with and of course, for you to enjoy.NOTE. In order to comply with British Fire Safety Regulations 1988, all my re-upholstered furniture manufactured after 1st January1950 is re-upholstered using fire retardant material, or contains fire retardant linings such as barrier cloth or wool as a liner / padding. POSTAGE. I only use a specialist furniture carrier for my larger, valuable and antique furniture. This has proven necessary to ensure you receive them in the same condition they leave my home. The carrier is fully insured and protects each item such that no external wrappings are required! The service is tracked and usually next day delivery. Please note, most of my furniture pieces are listed on several online market places and one physical shop. As such, on rare occasions it happens that a piece becomes unavailable at short notice. When this happens I try to quickly adjust my listings across the various platforms to prevent disappointment . Thank you for your understanding. MY PRICESI try to keep my prices competitive and sometimes understate their value when compared to others on this selling platform. However, my calculation is a simple one.I allow for the initial cost of the rescued piece, then add the new materials I use which maybe much more than the furniture piece. I add all the miscellaneous incidentals such as staples, tacks, lining cloth, paint, cleaning solutions, wax etc, etc. I then calculate for some of my time but this is minimal as I justify enjoying the process as much as making a bit of income from it.You'll find most of my items are priced well below others who make from new, yet their items are not always as robust and well made as original vintage and antique pieces as mine are. The fabrics are often as priced in upholstery warehouses - phenomenal but I strive to find end of rolls and large remnants to complete my projects, making them overall much cheaper to acquire. Of course any commission pieces are priced accordingly to current price lists from fabric warehouses.
