SANT'IVO ALLA SAPIENZA
Sant’Ivo alla Sapienza ROME, 1660 F. Borromini Baroque Tucked inside the courtyard of the Palazzo della Sapienza, the old seat of the University of Rome, Sant’Ivo is crowned by a spiral lantern that echoes the Lighthouse of Alexandria, its tip carved with “flames” that symbolise knowledge. Its floor plan is pure Baroque invention: a triangle for the Holy Trinity, crossed with a second, inverted triangle and woven with concave and convex curves, together tracing three bees, the emblem of charity, prudence and industriousness. This ring carries that geometry on the hand, in sterling silver or silver plated in 18k gold, handmade in Spain. Signature design by Maria Spada. Handcrafted with passion in our atelier in Spain. Details Material: sterling silver, or sterling silver 18k gold-plated Weight: ≈ 3 g Size: ES 12 — inner Ø 16.5 mm (52 mm) Band: open, adjustable
