It was back in 1986 when Exmoor Gold launched – the first modern Golden Ale. Designed as a single-malt beer, Exmoor Gold was a stunning contrast to the traditional “brown” ales and coal-black Irish dry stouts of the day. The colour of Chardonnay, Exmoor Gold brings together a subtle soft, caramel-tinged maltiness with citrusy fresh hop fruitiness. Expect a beautifully balanced 4.5% Golden Ale, with a bittersweet finish and hints of citrus fruit weaving in and out. Brewed with three quintessential English hops in the copper – Fuggles grown here at the Brewery, Challenger and Goldings – and 100% Pale malt. 4.5% ABV Ready to drink.
