The color stays warm and simple, with small variations in the surface and a matching leather keeper. Short stitches at the ends leave most of the leather unadorned. We made Kohana by hand in the USA using waxed linen thread. The leather has a substantial profile, with carefully finished edges and a smooth-looking face.
