Mencía 2023 - Members Release

Release Fall 2026 *Members Only - 1 bottle per 12 club member; otherwise Members can add on to their shipments (Taxes and deposit calculated at checkout) TASTING NOTES: This is the first Mencía fruit that has been harvested from our own Naramata Outlook Vineyard we planted in 2021 (first in Canada). It begins with dark black fruits and savoury notes - the palate has an undercurrent of spice, plum, blackberries, dried herbs and a hint of vanilla in a bed of earth. A medium to long finish with cellaring potential. WINEMAKING NOTES: Hand-picked, destemmed and then fermented in a 700L Oak vat with twice daily punchdowns. Aged 17 months in French oak. Bottle aged for 16 months prior to release.
