Voltacon InfiniSolar 15kW 3 Phase Hybrid Inverter 48V IP65 G99 | Ex Demonstration Unit This 15kW three phase hybrid solar inverter is an ex demonstration unit from the Voltacon technical lab in Coventry. Our engineers installed it, ran it and looked after it under controlled conditions. It was taken out of service when the lab system was expanded to 50kW and needed a larger inverter. It was not removed because of a fault. The latest firmware is already installed, and it is the same InfiniSolar model we currently supply new. This unit is different. It has only ever run in our own lab, and we know exactly how it was installed, configured and maintained. In grid tie mode the inverter supplies up to 15kW at 230VAC per phase, with a power factor above 0.99 and peak DC to AC efficiency above 96%. The two MPPT trackers each take two strings, so you can split an array across different roof orientations. In hybrid and off grid modes it runs from a 48VDC battery bank (40 to 62VDC) and delivers pure sine wave output on all three phases. Adjustable charging up to 300A lets you recharge a large battery bank quickly from solar or the grid. With the dual AC outputs, essential circuits stay on one output while non critical loads go on the second, which reduces unnecessary battery discharge. Because it runs on 48V low voltage storage, you can build the system around widely available 48V lithium batteries instead of a high voltage battery stack. That makes it a practical choice for farms, workshops, small commercial units and large homes with a three phase supply. Condition Used, fully working ex demonstration unit. Grid connected systems need a G99 application and DNO approval before connection. Correct cable sizing, DC and AC isolation, fusing, surge protection and earthing are essential, and all work must comply with BS 7671 and local regulations. Plan the wall mounting to take the 75 kg weight. The equipment operates at hazardous DC and AC voltages and connects to high current battery systems. Do not attempt DIY installation.
