Spread it on concrete, asphalt, driveways, sidewalks, steps, patios, and decks, but skip natural stone (limestone, marble, travertine) and any concrete poured in the last 12 months. Already got 2+ inches on the ground? Shovel or plow first, then use it to finish off the stubborn layer underneath. Liquid Rubber Ice Melt is safer for pets and vegetation than rock salt.
