Burr Bot | Sequential Discovery Puzzle

Burr Bot has swallowed something he should not have. Your job is to get it out of him. Goal: work through the robot's interlocking shell, find the tools hidden along the way, and free what is stuck inside. No force or external tools are allowed or needed to solve it. This is Andrew Crowell's first hybrid of a burr and a sequential discovery puzzle, and it took a Jury Honorable Mention at the 2021 Nob Yoshigahara Puzzle Design Competition.
