Kiila Feminist Archive Bibliography

Founded in 1936 as a counterforce to Finnish and European fascism and increasing militarisation, Kiila remains active today. This book focuses on four women writers within the group—Katri Vala, Elvi Sinervo, Iris Uurto, and Tyyne Maija Salminen—whose work was marginalised by both literary critics and their male comrades. Compiled by artist Minna Henriksson, the Kiila Feminist Archive Bibliography recovers their writings and situates them within international leftist anti-fascist and feminist struggles.
