Henschke Hill of Grace Shiraz 2022 is a historic single vineyard Eden Valley Shiraz from Henschke, sourced from pre phylloxera vines planted in the 1800s and regarded as one of Australia’s most iconic wines. Tasting notes open with blackberry, blueberry and fresh plum, lifted by violets, black pepper and a fine five spice complexity. The palate is layered and deeply composed, moving through mulberry and dark forest fruits with star anise, cedar and subtle spice. Tannins are finely woven and velvety, supported by bright acidity that drives an exceptionally long, elegant finish. Style wise this is a benchmark Australian Shiraz defined by old vine depth, precision and longevity rather than overt power.
