David Rittenhouse Handmade Historical Costume Wig

This wig will be styled after David Rittenhouse (1732–1796), the renowned American astronomer, mathematician, and instrument-maker who served as the first Director of the United States Mint from 1792 to 1795. It is currently in production, based on the customer's reference images: the hairstyle draws from a portrait of Robert Barclay, the Scottish Quaker theologian, featuring one or two rows of side curls in the restrained manner typical of late 18th-century civic dress, rendered in a period gray. The second image shows the color, gray. The wig cap is designed to fit all head sizes comfortably, ensuring a secure and snug fit during wear. It is deep and elastic, fitting head circumferences from 42 cm (or 17") to 61 cm (about 24"). Made in our Atelier in Athens, Greece.
