For decades, celebrities, tourists, and fabulous Toronto regulars loved to come and shop for gorgeous dresses, hoodies, tops, jackets and more! Now the dynamic duo is teaming up again, for a very special full day Fashion Camp where they'll teach you TONS of practical skills to upcycle, alter and funkify your wardrobe! It’s a wildly fun, hands-on, immersive day where you’ll learn how to transform the forgotten, damaged, boring, awkward, stained, outdated, or almost-loved items already sitting in your closet into pieces you’re excited to wear again. You’ll learn beginner-friendly techniques including: 🧵 Sewing Basics How to use a sewing machine Simple alterations Basic repairs Visible mending Hand sewing techniques Patching and reinforcing garments Creative fabric layering Adding trims and embellishments No experience necessary! Kingi and L.J. will guide you step-by-step with lots of one-on-one help. 🎨 Silkscreen Printing Frenzy! You’ll create up to 4 custom silkscreen designs of your own PLUS you have access to Peach Berserk’s fabulous silkscreens including classic PB designs like Glamour Gals, Lipsticks, Lady Libbers, Sexy Silhouettes and many more! Between all those options, plus swapping screens with the other guests, you'll have over 100+ designs to choose from to print! Not at all! Beginners are absolutely welcome. We’ll teach everything step-by-step. What if I’m not artistic? Actually you are! Everyone's an artist, and Peach Berserk is all about the events and workshops that bring out that natural, joyful creativity out in everyone! Sometimes, someone along the way told you they didn't like your drawing. And you took that to heart and decided you just weren't artistic. But before that moment, all children are experimental, expressive and free as artists. They draw, dress up, dance and sing just for the joy of it. That's what Peach Berserk is all about. The joy of being creative! This workshop is about experimentation and fun — not perfection. And you'll make stuff you're ready proud of and excited about too! How many items can I bring to upcycle? We recommend bringing 3–10 items so you have options to experiment with. Better to bring a bit too much so you have lots of choices. Will there be food? Yes! A catered brunch with mimosas, coffee, tea, and treats is included. Can I buy additional Peach Berserk items or materials? Yes! Additional blanks, merch, and selected materials are available for purchase during the event. Can I take the silkscreens I make home? We recycle and reuse the frames here but if you want to take your screens home, it's an additional $29 for each.
