How It Works Unlike standard filtration, this system uses a strong base anion (SBA) resin specifically formulated for organic color removal from potable water. Its acrylic gel structure allows organic anions to exchange in and out of the resin more efficiently than conventional polystyrene-based resins — meaning better performance and longer resin life. The system regenerates automatically with ordinary salt (sodium chloride), just like a water softener. Frequent regeneration is recommended to prevent organic buildup and keep the resin performing at its best.
