Opened in 1967 in Washington Park, this nonprofit is regarded as among the most authentic Japanese gardens outside Japan. Five original designs anchor the walk: Strolling Pond, Tea, Sand and Stone, Flat, and the Natural Garden. Newer expansion brought Cultural Crossing spaces for classes, exhibits, and entry flow.
