The 2017–2026 Ford F-150 Raptor Skid Plate Package is our strongest build yet — full frame-to-frame underbody armor engineered specifically for the Raptor, protecting the engine, transmission, exhaust and catalytic converters, and the front and rear lower control-arm mounts that take the hardest hits off-road. What it protects: the oil pan and lower engine, the transmission and full exhaust run (including the catalytic converters), and — unlike most kits — both the front and rear lower control-arm mounts that catch and hang up on rocks and ledges. The factory plate is thin stamped steel that covers only the front of the engine and traps the oil filter behind five small bolts notorious for breaking. Our front skid is stronger, drops with two bolts for service, and the package adds the transmission, exhaust, and control-arm-mount protection the factory leaves completely exposed.
