An exceptional and extraordinarily substantial Victorian 9ct rose gold belcher bracelet of magnificent scale and presence. Crafted in richly coloured solid gold, the bracelet features a striking sequence of broad rounded belcher links interspersed with beautifully decorated anchor style links engraved in intricate daisy flower detailing. This is one of the most impressive antique gold bracelets we have encountered, a piece with true weight, luxurious movement and unmistakable presence on the wrist. The sculptural links possess the rich tactile quality only fine Victorian goldwork can achieve, while the warm rose gold tone gives the bracelet an especially beautiful softness against the skin. The bracelet fastens with its original over sized dog clip clasp and retains a safety chain for secure wear. The end ring bears a full set of British hallmarks, now softly worn with age, while the clasp carries further “9-375” gold marks alongside the maker’s mark “JM”. Powerful, luxurious and unmistakably rare, this is Victorian gold jewellery at its absolute finest, a statement heirloom with enduring beauty and extraordinary presence.
