It is especially useful for new, newly cleaned, or restored Ipe and teak furniture as a final protective step after cleaning or refinishing. For best results, allow new wood to weather briefly before treatment, clean dark gray wood with a wood cleaner, and make sure the surface is completely dry and free of dust before applying. Apply a thin layer with a soft cloth, allow to dry, then add a second thin coat. Regular treatment a few times per year is recommended, with tabletops treated more often.
