The Dark Door: Passing Time Cabernet Cask Finish We’ve elevated our The Dark Door bourbon for a full 5 years, allowing the specialty oak to deepen its character with signature notes of vanilla, toasted pralines, and delicate white flowers. For this elite micro-release, we took that 5-year foundation and finished it in French oak barrels previously used by the acclaimed Passing Time Winery for their Cabernet Sauvignon. This finish introduces a sophisticated layer of dark cherry, leather, and a velvety tannic structure, resulting in an even smoother, richer, and more complex bourbon experience.
