Fleur de Lys Moquette Carpet Bag

Travel back in time to days of glamorous travel across the countryside! This beautiful moquette is a reproduction of the upholstery once used on the UK's Southern Railway in the 1930s. It lasted until the 1950s serving British Rail's suburban coaches. Now it's available as a very special Carpet Bag! I love this fabric as a bag, it has a glamorous older style which is just beautiful. The seatbelt style webbing strap is adjustable, and can be unclipped from the brass ring, making this a clutch bag too. Lined with a vintage upholstery cotton satin and handy pocket. 31cm X 25cms
