Parma Classico
Alfie’s Parma Classico is a Bacio sandwich built around 24-month Prosciutto di Parma layered in lemon basil pesto, artichoke in oil, and truffle aioli. It’s an Italian-style sandwich which is rich, savory, and aromatic, with premium ingredients. The sandwich has gluten, nuts, and dairy. Prosciutto di Parma is a premium dry cured ham imported from Italy. It is produced from the hind legs of specially selected heritage breed pigs which are only raised in eleven regions of Italy. The animals are monitored, and the meat products are inspected, traced, and approved by the Consorzio. This old Roman sandwich is made using our signature sourdough bread, called Bacio. Our bread is house-baked and made fresh daily in small batches with a crisp crust and airy interior. Our sourdough is made with a 72-hour fermentation which gives it a strong flavor and chewy texture.
